James R.W. Nesbitt, Q.C., Partner

A senior commercial solicitor with Witten, Jim focuses on commercial real estate, commercial transactions, and bank finance law. He also acts for landlords, real estate developers, and numerous financial institutions. Admitted to the Alberta bar in 1978, he earned a B.A. (1974) and LL.B. (1977) at the University of Alberta.

Jim’s community involvement includes being a past director and chairman of the Edmonton Tourism and Convention Authority and a past board member of the Edmonton Riverbend Progressive Conservative Association. He has also instructed with the Legal Education Society.
