Jonathan C. Calvert

Jon Calvert was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2007 after earning his LL.B. (2006) at the University of Alberta.  He is a corporate and commercial solicitor, with a focus on commercial real estate and financing.  Jon has extensive experience in the acquisition, financing, development, leasing and sale of real estate, including commercial, industrial, retail, condominium and apartment projects.  He provides advice to a broad range of clients, including individual entrepreneurs, corporations, financial institutions, partnerships and joint ventures. 

Jon has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada in the areas of real estate law, banking and finance law and commercial leasing law, and recognized in Lexpert for his involvement in several large transactions.  He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association Business Law and Commercial Property & Leasing subsections.

Outside the office, Jon coaches, skis, mountain bikes and runs (at his wife’s insistence, and also as necessary to chase down his two boys).  He also enjoys talking about skiing and mountain biking (less so about running) and traveling.
