Susan Clapp is a solicitor with emphasis in franchise law, commercial leasing, corporate/commercial law, and business transactions. She earned a B.Sc. specializing in Genetics (2001) and an LL.B. with Distinction (2004) from the University of Alberta, and she was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2005.
Susan has many years of experience assisting clients with commercial leasing and franchise matters. She advises large landlords and national tenants on all aspects of commercial leasing. Susan also specializes in franchise law. Susan has experience advising both large and small franchisors as well as franchisees. Her clients value her knowledge and insight about franchise system development and implementation.
Susan is a member of the Canadian Franchise Association, the American Bar Association - Forum on Franchising, the Canadian Bar Association Business Law and Commercial Property and Leasing subsections, and she is the past chair of the CBA Business Law North subsection. She enjoys traveling in her spare time.
