Cathy Farnell is Witten LLP’s Managing Partner. In addition to her management role, Cathy has an active practice with an emphasize on commercial real estate and property development, leasing, business law, and financing. Cathy’s financing practice includes real estate construction and term financing, corporate financing, and equipment financing.
Cathy’s commitment to her profession is evident through her active involvement in the professional community. She is a member of the Edmonton chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Women Network, a member and past board member of NAIOP, as well as a member of the Canadian Bar Association North Business Law and Commercial Property & Leasing subsections. Most recently, Cathy was a member of the Steering Committee for the Northwind’s 2023 Law Leaders Invitational Forum.
Beyond her professional achievements, Cathy enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and travelling.
