Landon has Bachelors of Science degrees in Honours Physics (2013, Gold Medalist), and Mathematics (2014, Distinction), a Juris Doctor (2019), and a Master of Business Administration (2019).
Prior to law school, Landon worked as a judicial clerk at the Court of Queen’s Bench in Edmonton where he regularly attended in and out of court, assisting judges, lawyers, and the general public in accessing the justice system.
During law school, Landon was involved with the Alberta Law Review where he served two terms as Co-Editor-in-Chief. In his final year, he was a Teaching Assistant for the first-year Legal Research and Writing course.
Landon completed the first half of his articles at the Court of Queen’s Bench in Edmonton where he had a chance to reconnect with many of the same justices he once attended in court with as their judicial clerk. He joined Witten immediately afterwards, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2020.
Outside of the office, Landon is a volunteer tutor for university physics and engineering students. He also enjoys watching live theatre and creating art, all with the company of his partner who is currently articling with an Edmonton-based criminal defence firm.
