Landon Haynes

Landon Haynes’ solicitor practice encompasses all aspects of commercial real estate, including purchase, sale, and financing matters. He also acts for landlords and tenants on various leasing matters.

As a Presiding Officer of the Edmonton Subdivision and Development Appeal Board, Landon brings practical insight and experience in municipal and development compliance law to both his board work and legal practice.

At Witten, Landon is frequently relied upon as a legal researcher on litigation files. He has contributed to matters before all levels of Court in Alberta, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada in a leave application matter.

Landon has Bachelors of Science degrees in Honours Physics (2013, Gold Medalist), and Mathematics (2014, Distinction), a Juris Doctor (2019), and a Master of Business Administration (2019). Landon completed the first half of his articles at the Court of King’s Bench in Edmonton. He joined Witten immediately afterwards, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2020.

Outside of the office, Landon is a volunteer tutor for university physics and engineering students. He also enjoys watching live theatre and creating art, all with the company of his partner who is an Edmonton-based civil litigation, foreclosures, and insolvency lawyer.
