Brendon Shabani joined the firm as an associate in 2021, after completing his articles at Witten. Brendon practices in the areas of commercial and residential real estate including purchase and sales, financing, and leasing. He also advises clients on corporate matters.
Brendon obtained his Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) in Political Science in 2015 and his Juris Doctor (with Distinction) in 2020 from the University of Alberta. During law school, Brendon volunteered for Civil Claims Duty Counsel, Edmonton Community Legal Centre, and Student Legal Services acting as a Dayleader and Civil Coordinator for the Civil/Family Project. Brendon continues to volunteer for Civil Claims Duty Counsel.
Outside the office, Brendon loves spending time with family and friends, trying to be athletic enough to keep up with his two young kids, and tending to his vegetable garden (for the few months of the year that is possible).
