Christine Chong

Christine practices general litigation with a focus on personal injury law. She is bilingual in Korean and English and also advanced in Spanish.
Christine spent her youth in England, Korea, Spain and Germany before attending the University of Toronto for Undergraduate studies. After completing her Master’s Program at Seoul National University in Korea with specialization in International Human Rights Law, Christine obtained her JD degree from the University of Alberta in 2014. She articled and practiced at a national law firm before joining Witten LLP. Prior to law school, Christine interned at the Ministry of Justice, Human Rights Policy Division in Korea and worked with numerous government agencies managing high profile clients. She also worked in Toronto as a Speakers Bureau Liaison at an international children’s rights charity organization, Free the Children.
Christine is currently a committee member of Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers and a member of the Canadian Bar Association and Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association.
She is also a foodie, a cat lover, and enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends.
