Patrick represents and advises clients on all aspects of business law, including the purchase and sale of businesses, employment matters, and privacy law issues. He has particular expertise in oil and gas law and represents First Nations and First Nation-owned businesses in the negotiation of Joint Venture and Farmout Agreements. Patrick’s experience also includes litigation matters and assisting clients faced with cyber-attacks and data breaches.
Patrick completed his B.A. (Honors) in Economics at the University of Alberta in 2007 with first class standing and then earned an M.A. in Economics (2008) and a J.D. in Law (2011) at Queen’s University. Patrick was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2012. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys team sports, backcountry travel, and volunteering in the Edmonton community.
