Patrick represents and advises clients on business law matters, including the purchase and sale of businesses, employment matters, and privacy law. Patrick’s expertise includes securing commercial lending on behalf of First Nations, First Nation-owned businesses, and financial institutions. Patrick also represents First Nations and First Nation-owned businesses in negotiating oil and gas Joint Venture Agreements.
Patrick’s experience includes litigation matters at all levels of Court in Alberta and representing clients faced with cyber-attacks and data breaches.
Patrick completed his B.A. (Honors) in Economics at the University of Alberta in 2007 with first class standing and then earned an M.A. in Economics (2008) and a J.D. in Law (2011) at Queen’s University. Patrick was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2012. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys team sports, backcountry travel, and volunteering in the Edmonton community.
