John M. Frame

John focuses his practice on condominium management law providing guidance and assistance to condominium corporations, directors, property managers and owners. He also practices in the areas of creditors’ rights, bankruptcy and insolvency and commercial disputes. Admitted to the Alberta bar in 1992, he completed a B.A. (1990) at the University of Alberta, and a LL.B. (1991) at the University of Windsor.

John has been a panelist speaking at various programs put on by the Legal Education Society of Alberta, the most recent being Bankruptcy and Insolvency Fundamentals.  He also contributes to the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education (CPLED) for the Law Society of Alberta and has been an instructor at the Bar Admission Course for the Legal Education Society of Alberta.

John is active in the local and national lacrosse and rugby communities and was a player on national championship lacrosse teams. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Edmonton Rugby Union and is the past Chair of the Discipline and Appeals Committee for the Alberta Lacrosse Association, the past President of the West Edmonton Blues Lacrosse Club and the Edmonton Outlaws Lacrosse Club. John previously coached minor lacrosse in West Edmonton and has represented the Canadian Lacrosse Association at national competitions.
