Sharon M. Hollohan

Retired

A personal injury lawyer, Sharon was admitted to the Alberta bar in 1983 after earning her B.Sc. Honors (1979) at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia and her LL.B. (1982) at the University of New Brunswick.

Prior to her retirement, Sharon was a member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association Legal Women’s Forum. She is a contributor to the 2018 publication Truth Be Told - An Anthology of Inspiration Stories (by Albertan women in law). Sharon was selected by her peers for inclusion in the 2019, 2020, and 2021 editions of the Best Lawyers in Canada. Sharon was a Legal Sector Liaison for the Sign of Hope annual fundraising campaign for the programs offered by Catholic Social Services to people of ALL faiths and cultures. She was a Volunteer with the Alberta Lawyers Assistance Society peer support program, providing confidential support to lawyers with personal issues. Away from the office, she is an avid golfer and runner, and a Volunteer for the City of Edmonton Abundant Community initiative, working as a Block Connector towards a more connected community.
