Schuyler V. Wensel, K.C.
Retired
Prior to his retirement, Schuyler was a senior civil litigator with extensive experience in construction law, business law, corporate governance, civil litigation, insolvency, real estate law, arbitration, and mediation. He was admitted to the bar in 1978 after earning his Bachelor of Business Administration and Commerce (1973) and LL.B. (1977) from the University of Alberta. In 1991, he received his Queen's Counsel designation from the Province of Alberta.
Schuyler acts as a mediator and arbitrator for the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society and has lectured for the Legal Education Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association. He is a past director of many organizations, including the Canadian Home Warranty Council and the Canadian Home Builders Association.
