Kathleen received her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta in 2012. She received her Juris Doctor in 2015, graduating with distinction from the University of Toronto. Kathleen articled at a large national firm in Toronto and then clerked for the Honourable Justice Frans Slatter at the Alberta Court of Appeal. A native Edmontonian, she joined Witten LLP upon completing her clerkship. She was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2016 and the Alberta bar in 2017.
While in law school Kathleen was actively involved in mooting and debating. She was a finalist at the Davies Canadian Corporate/Securities Moot and was selected for the University of Toronto's Grand Moot. She has represented both the University of Alberta and the University of Toronto at international debating competitions including the World University Debating Championships.
Outside of work, Kathleen is a member of the board of directors of the YWCA of Edmonton, an avid squash player and a dedicated dachshund owner.
