Gavin A. Millan
A solicitor focused on corporate reorganizations, business acquisitions, succession planning, wills and estate administration, Gavin enjoys interacting with clients to address their corporate and commercial issues, balance the risks involved in their particular situation. Gavin’s sensible and sensitive approach to estate and succession planning enables him to devise clear and effective plans that meet the needs of his clients and their families. Gavin is attentive to his clients’ corporate and personal concerns and presents them with options to resolve issues while working through some of life’s most important decisions.
Gavin earned his J.D. from Osgoode Hall in Toronto in 2012. He was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2013. Gavin is a member of the Law Society of Alberta. He is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association and he sits on the board of the Business Law section of the Canadian Bar Association for Northern Alberta. Gavin also volunteers for Civil Claims Duty Counsel.
Outside of work Gavin enjoys playing hockey, cooking, cycling, playing the piano and trying to keep up to his twin girls Madeleine and Liesl. He also enjoys learning languages, speaking French and Spanish fluently, and is currently learning German.
