Christie earned her Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta in 2015, and her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, B.C. in 2018.
During law school, Christie was involved in the student governing body, the Society of Law Students, where she served as Treasurer from 2016-2017. Christie also competed in the Jessup International Law moot, was an active member of the TRU Animal Law Advocacy association, and participated in a Directed Research program where she studied international oil and gas financing.
Christie received several awards throughout law school, including earning the top grade in Public International Law, Ethical Lawyering, and Entertainment Law, and being appointed to the Dean’s list for academic excellence from 2015-2018.
Outside of work, Christie enjoys exploring Edmonton’s river valley, spending time with her family and friends, shopping, staying active, and binge-watching TLC.
